"Yitzhak, Floating Over Evening Primrose With Monarch Butterflies"

$25,000.00

86.5”x42" Gouache Paint on Watercolor Paper

This is the second painting that I’ve done inspired by the movie “Hedwig and the Angry Inch”.

The first was of John Cameron Mitchell playing the role of Hedwig.

This one is of Miriam Shor, who, very convincingly, plays the role of Yitzhak, a man who transforms into one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen.

I love the idea of blurring lines between masculinity and femininity. We all have a little bit of both within us.

I hope that someday everyone on the planet will have the freedom to be who they want to be, as long as they’re not hurting anyone, because it’s amazing who we can be when we allow ourselves to be who we always wanted to be.

We are all so unique and so beautiful!

By adding paintings of people who are smiling and laughing to our walls we are creating a positive environment.

When we admire them they can inspire our own moments of happiness, they can remind us of what a gift our lives are and they can empower us to find our own inner strength to make our lives the lives that we want them to be.

That is the power and beauty of art!

If you would like to commission a personalized piece of art, whether it's of an existing photo that you have or if it's a moment that you would like to create please contact us.

Everyday is meant to be lived to the fullest, life is a precious gift.

Freedom from fear is the path to happiness.

Often times, people live in a constant state of fear. It controls them. They can not be free if fear is their chains.

Confronting our fears and moving beyond them will allow us to live in the moment, to experience new and amazing moments and to be happy.

My mission as an artist is to help people overcome their fears so that they can live in happiness.

I would love to hear your stories, talk about your experiences and together we can personalize a painting uniquely for you that will help you remember your inner strength, remind you of how amazing you are and empower you to live the life that you always wanted to live.
